Meza 4a-58/ 134 m2
The apartment located in a beautiful and spiritual place with excellent infrastructure. Nearby is the Orthodox Church, opposite is the university, and next to it is a music school, where the owner teaches piano lessons.
The architecture of the house is built in the Neo-Gothic style, the windows are lancet, thanks to which any landscape seems to become a master piece placed in a frame that you want to admire.
The environment suggested the idea for the project - meditative monochrome. The initial data was successful: eight windows on two sides. An area of 134 m2 made it possible to plan a practical space for a family with two children.
The space is remembered by its pure geometry and variety of textures. Rough reclaimed brick and plaster work alongside neutral wall tones and classic moldings on the walls and ceiling, while contrasting black and white elements enliven the restrained palette. We framed the window slopes in graphite-colored wood, and covered the radiators behind grilles made of the same material. The main flooring was double-layer French herrinbone oak parquet in a warm honey shade.
80% of the furniture is made according to our sketches. The result was a balanced basis on which urban and classical elements harmoniously became friends
